This is a week late, but hey, at least I'm not running a slant on the goal line or anything. But for LAST week the Utah Jazz were 16-28. The previous week to *this* week had the Jazz beating the Lakers, between losing to the Warriors and Spurs. Now the actual week I'm talking about had the Jazz lose to the Cleveland Cavaliers, beat the Milwaukee Bucks, and beat the Brooklyn Nets. A 2-1 week (by their count, I start my weeks on Sunday) is rare, and outside of the Cleveland game I think we were starting to feel a little good about our young club.
What did the rest of the NBA feel about our Jazz for last week?

So we ask thee: Which nickname do you prefer for Rudy Gobert? Our pal @DJJazzyJody is pushing "Stifle Tower." This Sabres fan, though, naturally still favors "French Rejection."|

|Site:||Sports Illustrated||Record:||16-28||Dante Exum has finally cracked the Jazz’s starting lineup and could be there for good. The 19-year-old has started Utah’s last two games, leading the team to wins over the Bucks and Nets and averaging 14 points and 4.5 assists while hitting eight three-pointers.|

After allowing 110 points per 100 possessions in their first 25 games, the Jazz have allowed just 101 (seventh best in the league) over their last 19. They're 10-9 in that stretch after wins over the Bucks and Nets, with one more East opponent on Monday. But then they play five straight games against the West's top eight, a test for their new, Australian backcourt.

Wow, that's a +14 overall for the six national writers, and an average bump of over +2 spots. I guess this is what beating the Bucks and Nets back to back can do. I can only imagine how crazy things will be THIS week when we get the results later on today from our recent trials where the team lost to the Boston Celtics, but beat the Golden State Warriors.
But what did you think?
