The Utah Jazz just *have* to beat the Los Angeles Lakers tonight. Wins do not come often against this club, and now is the time to strike. The Lakers are very hurt right now, and the Jazz defense has really turned it on of late. Our guys have beaten a lot of good clubs this season, but in order to take the next step they need to make sure not to falter against the bad ones.
Right now few clubs are worse than the Lakers.
Starters:
- PG: Jordan Clarkson vs. Dante Exum
- SG: Wayne Ellington vs. Joe Ingles
- SF: Carlos Boozer (wut) vs. Gordon Hayward
- PF: Ryan Kelly vs. Derrick Favors
- C: Robert Sacre vs. Rudy Gobert
Man, that's the starting five Byron Scott used in their win against the Boston Celtics, and former Tribjazz / current OC Register beat writer tweets:
Byron Scott said he'll stick with same starters in Utah that he used to beat Celtics. So four guys you've never heard of and Carlos Boozer.

Crazy, man. Speaking of tweets, from earlier today:
#LALatUTA RT if the Lakers suck, Fav if you hate Kobe. You can do both. pic.twitter.com/u2cgk21jQT

Yeah, not as many people hate Kobe Bryant as I thought. Kobe is out. As is Steve Nash, Ronnie Price, Julius Randle, and Nick Young. The Jazz are without Alec Burks, and that's it. Let's put them to bed early, Jazz.
