NBA Plaoyffs 2015: Cavaliers and Rockets look to go up 2-0, Raptors look to even the score

Three games tonight, probably only one worth watching.

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA Playoffs continue tonight with three more games. Personally, I missed the games last night, and really -- in a playoffs with the Utah Jazz I think I can better use my time looking at the NBA Draft for y'all. Anyway, three games tonight. The Boston Celtics (0-1) have one more game to play against the LeBron James -es, er, I mean the Cleveland Cavaliers (1-0). The Washington Wizards (1-0) look to test the Toronto Raptors (0-1) again. And out West, in the game you actually care about, the Dallas Mavericks (0-1) try to even the score and take on away from the Houston Rockets (1-0). Except for the Raptors, the higher seeded team has won all three games. And except for the Raptors, the higher seeded team is actually looking like a threat to make the NBA Finals. Which is funny, because the Dallas Mavericks have a title with some of these players from their previous core in Dirk Nowitzki and Tyson Chandler.

Games Tonight and TV Information:

  • 5:00 PM MT [TNT]: Boston Celtics [7] @ Cleveland Cavaliers [2]
  • 6:00 PM MT [NBA TV]: Washington Wizards [5] @ Toronto Raptors [4]
  • 7:300 PM MT [TNT]: Dallas Mavericks [7] @ Houston Rockets [2]

Last Night:

Last night the Chicago Bulls dispatched the Milwaukee Bucks, though it should be noted that the Bucks led after the first quarter by five. Also, the Golden State Warriors were challenged by a spirited effort by Anthony Davis, but prevailed over the New Orleans Pelicans by 10 points. It should be noted that the Pelicans led after the first quarter by 11. In both cases the higher seeded team won, and carry 2-0 records into Game 3.
