NBA Playoffs 2015: Spurs and Trail Blazers look to avoid going down 0-2

Three games tonight, probably only two worth watching.

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA Playoffs continue tonight with three more games. I know this is really late, the only excuse I have is that I'm just not feeling the first round of these playoffs just yet. Anyway, three games tonight. The Brooklyn Nets (0-1) have one more game to play against the very talented Atlanta Hawks (1-0). In the Eastern Conference Utah Jazz Bowl it's hard not to root for Paul Millsap, Kyle Korver, and DeMarre Carroll over Deron Williams. Also, D-Will really has become a shell of himself. What's up with that? Out West, the Memphis Grizzlies (1-0) look to test the Portland Trail Blazers (0-1) again -- their grit and grind is too much for the passive polish of Portland. And last, and best, in the game you actually care about, the San Antonio Spurs (0-1) try to even the score and take one away from the Los Angeles Clippers (1-0). This seems like a carbon copy of the copy from last night because it is. There seems to be no flavor to these playoffs just yet. I do expect the Spurs to not miss every three they take this time around. But I don't have many hopes for the Blazers.

Games Tonight and TV Information:

  • 5:00 PM MT [NBA TV]: Brooklyn Nets [8] @ Atlanta Hawks [1] -- On TV Right now
  • 6:00 PM MT [TNT]: Portland Trail Blazers [4] @ Memphis Grizzlies [5]
  • 8:30 PM MT [TNT]: San Antonio Spurs [6] @ Los Angeles Clippers [3]

Playoff Overview So far:

Out East all the better teams are winning, just like out West. The Cavaliers, Bulls, Wizards, Warriors, and Rockets are all up 2-0. I guess the playoffs don't start until the home team loses a home game, but in that case the Raptors are screwed, as they lost their first two in Canada.
