Deron Williams, Paul Millsap, and Kyle Korver were some of the most popular Utah Jazz players in recent history. Today they aren't on the same team anymore, as the Atlanta Hawks (3-2) look to close out their first round series against the Brooklyn Nets (2-3). I'm happy both teams made the playoffs; however, I do at times wonder how life would have been different if they were all still Jazzmen. Obviously, there would be no Derrick Favors, Enes Kanter (so, uh, Grant Jerrett), or half of Trey Burke. No Favors or Kanter probably means that Millsap doesn't feel squished in the frontcourt; however, the NBA Playoff failures against the Los Angeles Lakers made our front office seek length -- the length that Sap just doesn't have. Korver is one of the best shooters in NBA history and he would have been a great compliment on the wing to Gordon Hayward. You know, if Hayward wasn't decapitated by now from errant "passes". I don't know. I love our team right now. But I also miss having three of the best players in the league too.
Anyway, Game 6 tonight. Shortly. on ESPN.
