NBA Preseason: Phoenix Suns @ Utah Jazz Game Thread

It's Game 4 of 6 of the 2016-2017 NBA Preseason. Tonight? It's the Utah Jazz (2-1) 's first home game of the season. New uniforms. New logos. Some new players. Promotions for coaches and scouts. And . . .tonight . . . a new home court! I'm excited. I mean it! This is going to be awesome! So many new things, but same old opponents -- the Phoenix Suns (1-2) will be the first team to get booed in the new Aunt Viv. (I don't know if they're actually going to get booed though. We'll see.)

This will be the first game at home for this new Jazz team, but they are going to be without four of their top 10 players. The Suns are also going to be resting some of their guys as well.

For Phoenix, Tyson Chandler is out for rest, P.J. Tucker has an actual injury, recovering from low back microdiscectomy, and John Jenkins is doubtful for tonight with an abdominal strain. For Utah things are slightly worse. As the Jazz PR put it:

Phoenix has made a number of cuts already to their training camp roster, and the only real thing seems to be between rookie Tyler Ulis and injured John Jenkins, who is on a non-guaranteed deal right now. Utah is still rolling with 20, and, well, five need to go.
