Super Bowl 50 Reaction Thread: Denver Broncos 24 - Carolina Panthers 10

The Denver Broncos just defeated the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in Superbowl 50. Frankly, I'm surprised at all of the turn overs that the Broncos defense generated. Over the course of the season we've seen Denver get it done, but I don't think anyone expected them to hold Carolina to just 3 second half points. This was a grind it out win for our mountain region cousins. Hat's off to Peyton Manning and his 56.6 QB Rating, 1 INT, and 5 sack night. He was clearly superior to Cam Newton and his 55.4 QB Rating, 1 INT, and 6 sack night. If anything, this tells us that defense can still get it done. And as Utah Jazz fans, that's something we have to appreciate. Yes, the Jazz have an improving offense this season (currently 10th best ORTG in the NBA), but we all know that our bread and butter is defense (12th best DRTG). Our squad isn't a championship caliber one just yet. But it's fun to see the "underdogs" win it, as the Broncos were 5 1/2 points on the wrong side of Vegas to start this game. Congrats again Denver. You guys got it done!
