Right now the NBA Playoffs are just two weeks away. Four teams have claimed their spot in the second season already, the Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Los Angeles Clippers. On the flip side, somehow the Denver Nuggets joined the ranks of the eliminated teams. Last night there were six games, with just five Western Conference teams playing in them. Also even crazier, only two games where it was just the West against the West. Check see what it all looks like:
- Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Los Angeles Clippers -- the more distance between these two teams means the more likely it is that the Clippers are resting players when they play the Jazz later on this month
- Chicago Bulls beat the Houston Rockets -- this is amazing, more losses for Houston the better
- Portland Trail Blazers beat the Boston Celtics -- usually bad, but I don't think we're going to catch them anyway
- New Orleans Pelicans beat the Denver Nuggets -- we don't care
Tonight seven of the 15 teams in the West go at it, only one game is West vs. West though -- Minnesota Timberwolves @ Utah Jazz. If Utah wins and the Dallas Mavericks drop their game at the Detroit Pistons then we move out of the Golden State Spot. If the Toronto Raptors can beat the Memphis Grizzlies this would be cool. I don't know if Toronto will do it though, they haven't been as secure a win as in previous months.
