Just about 5 weeks until the Jazz season is upon us! The anticipation is growing greater by the day!

Beat 1

Jazz fan favorite Rudy Gobert just will not let fellow frenchman Evan Fournier live down how dissimilar Evan's NBA2k Player looked like him.

For reference, the picture of Evan:

If you missed it yesterday, Mylo posted some absolute fire in THE EVEN MORE COMPREHENSIVER AND DETAILEDER PRESEASONER UTAH JAZZ PREVIEW THAT WILL REPLACE ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND MEMORIES Click here!!!!

Spoiler alert, but the ending of the preview with the absolutely undeniable predictions thrown in are too good to pass up in this downbeat:

Prediction

My prediction is that the Utah Jazz will play in all of their 82 games this season. If they can play in all 82 of their games with 5 players on the court using timeouts, I think there’s a good chance they make the playoffs even if they can’t figure out how to use more than one basketball in a game and can’t figure out how to win even though they’re outscored.

Beat 3

Zach Buckley over at Bleacher Report released his preview for the Utah Jazz season this weekend. Go ahead and check it out here: Utah Jazz Complete 2016-17 Season Preview.

The concluding prediction to this preview continues to get me on the 2016-17 Utah Jazz hype train!

So many central players are either entering their primes or still climbing toward them. The new veteran voices in the locker room will help guide this nucleus to previously unseen heights. Forget about simply securing a playoff spot; the Jazz should compete to host a postseason series or two.

  • Final Record: 50-32
  • Division Standing: First in Northwest
  • Playoff Berth: Yes
  • B/R League-Wide Power Rankings Prediction: 4th

Beat 4

Looks like the Jazz got themselves another athletic freak to fill the void in our fanbase's collective hearts left behind by Jeremy Evans.

Enter Joel Bolomboy:

The Jazz have a nice collection of past and present players who have hit the ridiculous 12 foot mark! Incredible!

Beat 5

Will this year's 52nd pick in Joel Bolomboy be able to outperform past 55th pick in Jeremy Evans?

As you contemplate the possibilities, digest this moment of Jazz glory that happened as a glimmer of hope for our franchise during our team's dark ages.
