The Utah Jazz are expecting big things this year, and so is Gordon Hayward. Gordon didn’t make a lot of noise this off-season. He wasn’t a free agent. He didn’t join the Olympic team. But he did put his work in every morning, early, this off-season.

His body continues to improve, and he thanked the strength and conditioning coaches, and the assistants who helped him. (Name checked Coach Igor, if you are playing Media Day Bingo.)

It was more than just strength training and getting shots up.
Gordon Hayward talked about how he hadn't picked up a tennis racket since high school and won a tennis tournament in Utah this summer.

It’s going to be exciting to see if Hayward has another step that he can take, as the leader of this team.
