In a close defensive game, the Utah Jazz fell short to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Donovan Mitchell, Joe Ingles and Epke Udoh had strong performances against Jimmy Butler and Andrew Wiggins but it wasn’t enough to overcome a big night from Jamal Crawford and Karl Anthony Towns.
Derrick Favors had a strong performance showing an improved midrange jumper and has also shown an ability to pass the ball. Tonight he had three assists after having four against the Denver Nuggets a few nights before.
In their next game, the Jazz will face the new look Oklahoma City Thunder at home.
