Jimmy Butler seems to be insecure of old flames entering the Timberwolves’ locker room. Ricky Rubio who played his first six seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves evidently got so under Jimmy Butler’s skin the other night that Jimmy Butler told authorities at Target Center that if they saw Ricky Rubio to not allow Ricky into “my locker room.”
One leftover from last night: Jimmy B informed the authorities after the game not to allow Ricky into “my locker room” if he tried to visit— Jerry Zgoda (@JerryZgoda) October 21, 2017
I would think Jimmy Butler would want to meet a real point guard after Jeff “Way better than a shooter than Rubio” Teague went 0-3 from 3 point land and only shot 30% scoring only 10 points and dishing out 4 assists, but, hey, that’s just me.
Meanwhile, Ricky Rubio in his homecoming against his former team scored 19 points, dished out 10 assists, and tore down 5 rebounds. You know, point guard stuff. Seems that Jimmy Butler is making a GREAT impression on his new teammates.
