In Lonzo Ball’s first regular season game against the Utah Jazz all eyes were on the Lakers new young rookie, but Donovan Mitchell stole the show. Leading the Jazz in scoring, Mitchell exploded out of his shooting slump and showed Jazz fans why they should be excited.
Along with Mitchell, Rudy Gobert and Joe Ingles showed why they are typically the cornerstone of Jazz victories. Gobert had three blocks and was a +22. Ingles shot 3/7 on three pointers and led the team at +25 for the game.
Kyle Kuzma showed why he should be getting looks at the starting lineup with his nice all around game. The biggest negative for the Lakers was Kentavious Caldwell-Pope who was 0/5 from three and a -20.
