Utah Jazz end losing streak with win against Boston Celtics

And all with Gordon Hayward watching

The Utah Jazz came into Boston, the number one team in the Eastern Conference, with a 4-game losing streak. The pressure was especially high with Gordon Hayward in attendance. They weren’t supposed to win this one.

But the Utah Jazz have Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell had another strong performance as he continues to prove himself as a legitimate Rookie of the Year candidate. He scored 17 points and 9 assists with tough defense against one of the best players in the league, Kyrie Irving.

Ricky Rubio had his best night as a Jazzman on the night all Jazz fans would have preferred. Ekpe Udoh also played great at center after Rudy Gobert and Derrick Favors left with injuries.

With the reins of this offense firmly in Donovan Mitchell’s hands, Jazz fans can rest assured the next seven years will be much better than the previous seven.
