Utah Jazz fall short against Oklahoma City Thunder

A tough December continues for the Utah Jazz

The New Year can’t come fast enough for the Utah Jazz who lost another tough December game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Thunder defense, behind the all-star level play of Paul George, stifled the Jazz holding their three point shooters at bay. Russell Westbrook had another triple-double leading the Thunder in the 4th quarter to the victory.

The bright spot of the game, and the season for the Utah Jazz, was Donovan Mitchell who continues his quest for the rookie of the year award. Tonight he scored 29 points on 12/16 shooting and kept the Jazz relatively close.

It’s also been fun seeing Donovan Mitchell get so much love and encouragement from fellow superstars in the league. As the final whistle blew, Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony made a point to talk to the star rookie.

The future could not be brighter for Donovan Mitchell.
