In addition to the update on Derrick Favors, the Utah Jazz broke some silence on their other starting bigman: Rudy Gobert. Gobert missed the last game, against the Thunder, with leg soreness. It is likely that he may miss the next game as well, against the Clippers. That sucks, but I’d rather have them healthy than not.

Gobert (leg soreness) - QUESTIONABLE
Favors (knee contusion) - OUT
Mack - (ankle sprain) - OUT#LACatUTA
For Derrick Favors is already out. Shelvin Mack is also out - but with how Dante Exum and Raul Neto can play it’s not a problem. Gobert being questionable, and thus a game time decision unless things get much worse over night, does suck.
But, again, health is more important than not. It just sucks because we’ve seen a lot of injuries this season, and last season, and two seasons ago - and it’s all pretty disappointing. Do home fans get money back if starters don’t play? No. Oh well.
