As can be expected on the day of the NBA draft, rumors are abound. Dennis Lindsay has an especially active history on this day each year, so it should come as no surprise if moves are made.
With concerns about losing George Hill to free agency in a week or 2, all of the options need to be evaluated for the Utah Jazz. Ricky Rubio has been mentioned as a target by several people around the league, and our man Jody Genessy of the Deseret News has the latest:
The Jazz have explored trading for point guard Ricky Rubio with Minnesota, per sources, but there's no real traction on that front for now.

Ricky Rubio’s defense would obviously fit with the Jazz defensive identity, but that shooting? I’m not 100% confident he would be the best PG match for All-NBA center Rudy Gobert. Unless we can get the post all-star break version of Rubio. After the break he averaged 16 points, 4.6 rebounds, 10.5 assists, shooting 42, 35.3, and 91.7. THAT Rubio would be great. If Hill does leave, would Rubio help convince Gordon Hayward to stay? Lindsay certainly has that in the back (well probably very front) of his mind in everything he does tonight.
Needless to say, this should be an exciting night as rumors swirl, picks are presented, trades materialize, and Woj continues to bomb. Stay tuned in here at SLC Dunk for updates and comments as everything happens!
