Every year at summer league there are a few players that make turn some heads and get the crowd to say, “Who’s that!?”
This year Eric Griffin has done just that. When Mychal and I went to the first Utah Jazz Summer League game, Griffin threw down a dunk that got everyone out of there seat.
It was love at first dunk.
And then he started to make play after play. A steal here, a deflection there and more dunks. Griffin has obvious athleticism that may have been honed with his time in Europe. And according to David Pick, he may be on his way to the NBA.

Having watched Griffin make play after play in Summer League, consider me on board for this. Griffin is a hyper athletic 6’8” forward that looks like he could be a defensive force.
Could he be the next Jonathan Simmons? We’ll see.
