The Utah Jazz are expected to waive Boris Diaw’s non-guaranteed contract very soon. Tim MacMahon broke the story a few minutes ago:
Utah is expected to waive Boris Diaw, a source said. He will not return to the Jazz next season.— Tim MacMahon (@espn_macmahon) July 13, 2017
More details to follow as the story develops. With the recent FA signings, Diaw’s contract will not be in Utah come Saturday - whether it’s because of a trade or because he’s simply waived.
I’ll always remember you, Boris. Thanks for the 4-point play against the Clippers (that got waived away because he’s not a superstar like Chris Paul).
Boris says goodbye to the Utah Jazz and fans. Legend.
