The NBA and the Utah Jazz released the 2017-2018 NBA schedule. Here at SLC Dunk we want to give you the best coverage of that schedule in particular the Utah Jazz schedule.
The first game of the regular season is 10/18. it is against Paul Millsap and the Denver Nuggets. Nothing like the Rocky Mountain Rivalry to get the season going. The Nuggets made some big off season moves, including acquiring Paul Millsap. It will be a big game right off the bat for the Jazz. They will want to show that they don’t miss Gordon Hayward and are still kings of the division. Millsap will want to show that he is worth the contract that the Nuggets gave him, especially to a former team.
The first three games are against Northwest Division opponents. Including the Minnesota Timberwolves on the road and the Oklahoma City Thunder at home. Welcome all new Northwest Division players! Paul George, Jimmy Butler, and of course Paul Millsap.
There will be multiple posts here at the Dunk analyzing the schedule in depth. We will look at road trips, back-to-backs, Hayward’s return and the other ins and outs of the schedule. We are excited for this season to begin. October 18th is 65 days away!
From the time I wrote this post:
