Utah Jazz fans will have a long time to stew before Gordon Hayward makes his return to Utah. Almost a full year after Hayward’s last game in Utah, he will make his return on March 28th, 2018. The game will be televised on ESPN.
One has to wonder at this point in the season if Gordon Hayward will even suit up against his former team. This game takes place in the 24th week of the season. With only 7 games left in the year, the Boston Celtics might be resting some of their players in anticipation of the playoffs. Boston could be even more superpowered if they want to chase Kyrie Irving with their many assets.
By that point the Utah Jazz could look very different as well. The Utah Jazz have been active with acquiring non-guaranteed and expiring contracts. They could have parlayed that into another big time player.
Notable Returns
George Hill makes his return to Utah in March as well, March 17th. George Hill now finds himself a member of the Sacramento Kings.
Another Utah Jazz point guard in a new location is Shelvin Mack. Shelvin Mack and the Orlando Magic face off against the Utah Jazz in Utah on March 5th.
[Correction: An earlier version of this article stated Shelvin Mack returned on March 17th. That actually was George Hill.]
