As many fans hoped, the Utah Jazz recently signed swingman and summer league fan favorite Eric Griffin to a two-way deal. Today, Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reported that another two-way player will be joining the organization: 6’4’’ shooting guard Nate Wolters.

This guy spent his college years at South Dakota State, where he averaged 18.5 points per game on 45% shooting, and 34% from deep. After being drafted by Washington in the 2nd round of the 2013 NBA draft, he had a couple of lackluster seasons in the NBA before jumping across the pond to play for Besiktas and Serbia, where he recently averaged 7.1 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.
It doesn’t seem likely that he’ll see much time on the Jazz, but he provides some insurance as a probable Salt Lake City Stars regular.
