The Utah Jazz struggled to score all night against the Atlanta Hawks. Whether it was because it was the third game in four nights, team makeup, or the trade rumors, it came out to a disappointing loss to the last place team in the league.
On the other hand, it may be just what the Jazz need. Whether fans like it or not, losses might be what’s best for the Jazz in the long run. Finding a high level pick in the draft to pair with Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert is going to be much better than any short term move. Especially with the playoffs nearly out of reach.
And getting a pick for the Jazz will also allow them in the upcoming offseason to find complimentary pieces that will surely be interested in playing with two exciting young players.
The short term it definitely hard, but in the long run, it will be worth it.
