You know what they say, all good Chicago Bulls become Jazzmen. Well ... it worked with Jerry Sloan. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN is reporting that the Chicago Bulls, despite an improved run fueled by improved health, are still planning on trading Nikola Mirotic by the trade deadline. Nikola Mirotic has been intrigued by what he could do in Quin Snyder's offense.
The Bulls are still planning to trade forward Nikola Mirotic, which can't happen until Jan. 15 or without his permission, based on his contract. Mirotic has been intrigued with the Utah Jazz, whose coach, Quin Snyder, has a reputation of maximizing offensive talent.
If the Utah Jazz want to get back into the playoff conversation, they'd have to be one of the first people to call Chicago on January 15th and have Mirotic in a Jazz uniform the next day. A possible deal with Chicago would most likely involve the expiring contract of Derrick Favors.
Nikola Mirotic has been a favorite trade target for Jazz fans and, I would imagine, the Utah Jazz front office as he's the perfect complimentary player to Rudy Gobert at the four spot. Looks like the trade deadline is going to get very interesting.
