Nine in a row! Tonight it was without Ricky Rubio for a Utah Jazz team that is dissecting opposing offenses while suffocating every shot at the rim. In one of the toughest arenas in the league, the Jazz found a way to gain a game on the Portland Trail Blazers in their playoff hunt.
In his rookie debut, Royce O’neale was incredible with a team leading +28 plus minus with 4 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. O’neale makes winning plays and helps his team every minute he’s on the court. All of this while guarding the opposing team's best player, Damian Lillard. What a find by Dennis Lindsey!
Donovan Mitchell continued his race for the Rookie of the Year award leading the team’s offense with 27 points while Rudy Gobert crushed hopes and dreams at the rim. Also of note, Joe Ingles shot 6/9 from three!
The Utah Jazz are rolling and there’s no reason to believe it won’t continue.
