The race for Rookie of the Year will get interesting as Donovan Mitchell and Ben Simmons headline the 2018 Mountain Dew Kickstart Rising Stars game. In one of the hottest races for Rookie of the Year, the two will definitely be jockeying for MVP of the Rising Stars game. Currently, Donovan Mitchell is averaging 19.6 points, 3.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds. Ben Simmons is averaging 16.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game.

Playing in both the All-Star game and the Rising Stars game is Joel Embiid who has become one of the biggest stars in the game. On the season Embiid is averaging 23.7 points, 11.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. Embiid, along with a long list of stars, showcases just how good this crop of young stars is. The future of the NBA is very bright!
