Utah Jazz get big night from Rodney Hood in win over New Orleans Pelicans

On a night when Donovan Mitchell was still sick from the flu, Rodney Hood stepped up in a big way to help the Utah Jazz beat the New Orleans Pelicans. Hood was brilliant shooting 12/14 from the field.

Also making a big impact was Joe Ingles who continues to shoot lights out. Ingles filled the stat sheet with 18 points on 4/5 from three with 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. You’d think he’d be the plus minus all star for the Jazz but that was Derrick Favors who was a +33 in the game. Favors is such an all-around beast at the 4-spot that helps you win games and the Jazz are lucky to have him.

The Jazz have now won six in a row. If they can keep up this pace, they’ll be playing for more than just the 8 seed.
