According to reports from The Athletic, Michael Scotto is reporting that the Utah Jazz and Denver Nuggets held exploratory talks centered on Joe Johnson and Wilson Chandler.
Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz have held exploratory trade discussions involving Wilson Chandler and Joe Johnson, league sources told The Athletic.

The key word in this is exploratory trade discussions. Because the Utah Jazz are sellers at the trade deadline the reaction to this news is a lot of "so what?" The Utah Jazz have held exploratory trade discussions with half the league (Tony Jones was reporting that 15 teams are interested in Rodney Hood).
According to other reports, the discussions with the Nuggets didn't go that far. Probably someone at Denver HQ found out that there had been an outgoing call made out to Utah and they forced them to hang up the phone before they continued their trade losing streak with the Jazz.
Joe Johnson talks didn’t go much of anywhere with Denver, I’m told.
