Good news, Jazz fans. Stock Jr. is staying with the team for a bit longer!
Sources: Utah is signing guard David Stockton, son of Jazz Hall of Famer John Stockton, to a second 10-day contract.

Sure, we’re probably not going to build a statue in his honor, but it was fun to watch another Stockton suit up for the Jazz last night:

I’m not crying. You’re crying.
Anyway, things are looking up in the point guard department. This isn’t an article about Dante Exum, per se, but I didn’t think that would be playing so well so soon. I figured that he’d be a good defensive specialist off the bench, and that his offensive game would be less-than-stellar because of an aversion to drive to the rim. Boy, was I wrong:

He’s been taking it inside with abandon, his jump shot looks decent, and he’s setting up his teammates for success too. With Ricky Rubio, Dante Exum, and David Stockton all healthy, the Jazz have more depth, as Donovan Mitchell doesn’t have to run the point unless Quin Snyder needs him to.
Locked in a playoff race with a handful of other motivated teams, the Jazz need all the depth they can get.
