In what was a must win game for the Utah Jazz against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Jae Crowder stepped up in ways that may not have been expected.
With the game essentially over, Jeff Teague took a cheap shot on Ricky Rubio and Jae Crowder came from out of nowhere to confront him about about it. After review, Teague was ejected and then got into it with Tom Thibodeau. That type of toughness is incredible and now the whole team knows that Jae Crowder is one of the family.
It may all seem like a small thing, but this is the type of event that can forge a strong bond with a team and can help them get through adversity in the future. The Jazz are lucky to have a teammate like Jae Crowder who they know will be there for them.
By the way, the Jazz won in what was easily their best performance since All-Star break. They still sit in the 10th spot in the Western Conference but this inches them one step closer.
