The Utah Jazz looked to be rolling to an easy victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder after Jae Crowder hit 6 threes leading the Jazz to a 25 point lead.
Then the third quarter happened. Rudy Gobert and Derrick Favors ran into foul trouble and Russell Westbrook took advantage. He was an unstoppable force ending the game with 45 points.
Paul George was also big for the Thunder scoring 34 points which helped put the Thunder over the top.
Donovan Mitchell scored 23 but looked a little slow in the 4th which may have been caused by a knee to the thigh he received earlier in the game. Ricky Rubio had an off shooting night hitting 4/14 from the field.
Utah also had 16 turnovers while the Thunder had 8 which may have been another reason they couldn’t seem to score enough to stem the Thunder’s run.
I have pain in my heart.
