The Jazz can clinch a playoff spot tonight

Without playing tonight, the Jazz may clinch a spot in the insane Western Conference playoff race.

Today is a day unlike any other. You might have felt a tightness in your chest or maybe you noticed a difference in the air. Without knowing for sure what it could be, I’m going to tell you; it’s the first night and opportunity for the Utah Jazz to clinch a playoff spot.

With help from the Golden State Warriors and the Portland Trail Blazers, the Utah Jazz can secure a spot in the 2018 NBA Playoffs. With losses to both the Pelicans and the Spurs, the Jazz would retain the tiebreaker over both teams, thus ensuring them a playoff spot at their current win total of 46.

It’s been such a wild ride this season, especially the last couple of weeks. The Jazz have been playing their best basketball, and have moved all the way up into fourth place in the Western Conference. It’s pretty insane that even a fourth-placed team wouldn’t have a playoff birth clinched with only three games remaining, but this year has been nuts.

The Jazz don’t play until tomorrow afternoon, but they have an opportunity to prove everyone wrong tonight by doing something few thought they could do this season. Make sure to tune in to the games or follow the scores so you can be immediately relieved of any anxiety from the Jazz falling out of the playoffs.
