Utah Jazz look to counter Orlando’s Magic

The Jazz should expecto potronum a lot of Jonathan Isaac

NBA: Summer League-Utah Jazz at New York Knicks Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

In their first game of the Las Vegas Summer League tournament, the Utah Jazz will face the Orlando Magic.

The Jazz have seen great production from players like Stanton Kidd, Tony Bradley, Grayson Allen and Naz Mitrou-Long and to move on in the tournament, and summer league glory, they’ll need them on the floor. Tonight will be tough because it looks like both Bradley and Allen will sit out.

Stanton Kidd is especially interesting considering the recent Sportando report of him signing a contract with the Jazz. Maybe we’ll find out what kind of contract it is?

What to watch for

Jonathan Isaac vs Everyone

NBA: Toronto Raptors at Orlando Magic Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

Isaac has looked fantastic so far in summer league. He has incredible length and athleticism that really shows on the defensive end. But maybe even more impressive has been his offense. He’s hitting jump shots and he gets to the rim. He can also finish a lob at any time which makes him a threat at all times.

The Magic may have finally found that guy!

Jazz fans will get a front row seat to see just how good he’s become and if they can slow him down tonight.
