It’s that time of year again. With the NBA season (thankfully) fast-approaching, it’s time to re-rank the Utah Jazz roster from bottom to top according value.
Before we get too far, let’s briefly review how last year’s ranking ended:
- Rudy Gobert
- Ricky Rubio
- Rodney Hood
- Derrick Favors
- Joe Ingles
- Joe Johnson
- Donovan Mitchell
- Dante Exum
- Thabo Sefolosha
- Alec Burks
- Jonas Jerebko
- Ekpe Udoh
- Raul Neto
- Tony bradley
- Eric Griffin
- Joel Bolomboy
- Royce O’Neale
- Nate Wolters
It’s safe to say that we have a lot of work to do and that Dennis Lindsey is pretty good at his job. There were some pretty big misses from us last year, which is what makes this so fun.
Some may ask what I mean by “value”. I don’t really want to define that for you, but would rather leave that up to you to determine your own definition. It could be significance to winning, it could be production vs. contract, it could be something entirely different like who your favorites are. In the end we’re guaranteed to come up with some interesting results.
Who will be this year’s Royce O’Neale that becomes more valuable than we ever could have guessed? Is there a Rodney Hood or Joe Johnson in our midst? How will the top 5 look like this time around?
I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to see the end results. So without further introduction, let’s get to work on this year’s #JazzRank.
