Our Utah Jazz are Fun!

Its the off-season. Almost two weeks into it, what are our Jazz up to?

Its hard to believe that the Jazz season has been over for nearly two weeks. I get kind of sad when I see this on my phone:

No upcoming games scheduled.... its going to be a long long summer.

But hey, we have the playoffs still. How exciting was that 4 Overtime game by the Trail Blazers and the Nuggets? It was nice to see former Jazz players, Paul Millsap, Rodney Hood, and Enes Kanter playing meaningful minutes in the playoffs. They all had their moments to shine too in that epic game.

If you could bring back any former Jazz player who is currently playing in the NBA who would it be?

Here is a list:

Ian ClarkNew Orleans Pelicans

Devin Harris – Dallas Mavericks

Gordon HaywardBoston Celtics

George HillMilwaukee Bucks

Rodney Hood- Portland Trail Blazers

Jonas JerebkoGolden State Warriors

Enes Kanter – Portland Trail Blazers

Kosta KoufosSacramento Kings

Trey Lyles – Denver Nuggets

Shelvin MackCharlotte Hornets

Wesley Matthews – Dallas Mavericks

C.J. MilesMemphis Grizzlies

Paul Millsap – Denver Nuggets

Marvin Williams – Charlotte Hornets

Let me know if I forgot anyone!

I think I would want to bring back Paul Millsap. Personality wise and skills wise, I think he would add a lot to the Jazz. Yes Millsap is getting older, its hard to believe he is in 13th season in the NBA. Remember all the years of debating Boozer vs. Millsap? Fun times. I miss having a player like Millsap who just has a nose for the ball. He is always getting rebounds, both offensive and defensive rebounds. He hustles and makes smart defensive plays. He is reliable. Why did we not re-sign him again?

Millsap’s ability also to shoot the three and his ability to create offense in the post could greatly benefit the Jazz. He has shown to be a calming presence with the young Denver Nuggets team. He scores when he needs to but doesn’t need the spot light. He allows Jokic and Murray to shine and lead the team.

Anyone else choose Millsap if you could bring a former player back? If you could bring back any former Jazz player who is currently playing in the NBA who would it be?

What’s going on with our Jazz players this off-season?

And some more fun:

I love this team and their camaraderie. I am excited to see what Dennis Lindsey does to add to it this summer. 2019 can go down as one of the biggest summers in Jazz history. Its that big and that important.

For now though, I am enjoying their tweets, instagram posts and our sweet memories from the 2018-2019 season. Check out Mylo’s incredible season highlight video:
