It was so good to see some basketball on TV again.
Team Blue took on Team White in the first official game and scrimmage for Team USA. This scrimmage wasn’t much more than a glorified practice, but gave us a good look at the roster that Team USA has put together, including Utah’s own Donovan Mitchell. Spida only played 19 minutes tonight, scoring 8 points on 3-7 field goals as well as dishing out 4 assists. He looked great all night and was making plays even when it wasn’t directly impacting his stats on the box score.

Donovan Mitchell also took some time out of his pregame warmup to do what he usually does, and that is just being a great dude. He hooked some little fans up with his (super fresh) Team USA colorway of the Don Issue 1, and they were super stoked.

It was good to see Donovan Mitchell and Team USA playing basketball. It’s going to be a fun group to follow and see how well they can finish at the FIBA World Cup in China.
