Obviously family comes first, so this is a more important development than some basketball games. Congratulations and good luck to the Conley’s as they welcome a new member to their family.
As for what it means for the playoff series against the Denver Nuggets that is scheduled to tip off Monday morning, Conley is assured to miss the first two games of the series at a minimum. In all likelihood, his absence will be much longer. Don’t be surprised if we don’t see him at all in the series.
With the series starting tomorrow, and going every other day, Conley is certain to miss at least the first two games, and likely to miss the first three. https://t.co/JmuGUkBubj

This will likely mean a lot of time for Donovan Mitchell running the show at the point guard position and an increased role for some deeper bench players like Miye Oni. How Quin Snyder and the rest of the Jazz roster adjust will be crucial to Utah’s playoff hopes.
