With 4:44 left, the Jazz lead the Thunder 99 - 77
Donovan Mitchell found his groove in the second half putting 14 points in the game and finding his teammates for open looks with 4 assists. His defense has been the story for him as he’s found a way to grab 2 steals and a defensive effort overall that should get Jazz fans excited.

2nd Quarter
Utah Jazz 54 - OKC Thunder 42
The Jazz broke this one open behind some incredible shotmaking by Jordan Clarkson who has 15 on 5/5 shooting. The reigning 6th Man of the Year has looked ready to go. Donovan Mitchell’s tough shooting continues as he’s gone 1/8 from the field. Being guarded by Lu Dort will do that.
Rudy Gobert has been dominant in this one with 13 points and 13 rebounds at the half.
1st Quarter
Utah Jazz 27 - Thunder 18
Rudy Gobert has looked fantastic on the offensive end. Overall the Jazz look good despite a rough start for Donovan Mitchell.

The Utah Jazz are going up against the Oklahoma City Thunder in their opening night matchup. It’s a Thunder team that likely wants to lose most of their games this season and the Jazz looking to win all of them. In the return of Derrick Favors the Jazz will be hoping to get out ahead quickly in this one so they can rest their starters as much as possible.
This is a chance for everyone to see the sophomore season of Poku as well as the first regular season of Josh Giddey and Tre Mann. It’s a young team with promise for the Thunder but it won’t necessarily be good against the talent and firepower of Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, Mike Conley and the Utah Jazz.
