Utah Jazz vs Sacramento Kings: Game Thread and Live Updates

The Jazz are looking for a 2-0 start to the season

End of 2nd Quarter

Sacramento Kings 52 - Utah Jazz 46

The Jazz are dealing with two things. The Kings are playing with juice and intensity that the Jazz aren’t matching. The Jazz are obviously the better team, but the effort just hasn’t been there.

Donovan Mitchell has gone 4/7 from three. The problem is that he’s 4/12 overall. He needs to be more and stop driving to the hoop without a backup plan. Utah needs to come out in the second half with more intensity or they could be looking at their first upset of the season. The good news? Mitchell has 2 steals and is showing a noticeable difference in intensity on the defensive end. Nice to see!

1st Quarter

Sacramento Kings 26 - Utah Jazz 24

Joe Ingles has been ejected. In a play that showed lack of focus, and laziness if we’re being honest, Davion Mitchell was almost seriously injured and Ingles was ejected on a flagrant 2.

Utah is going through the motions and the Kings being on top shows.

It’s the second game of the season and the Utah Jazz have a chance to stay undefeated against the Sacramento Kings. The Jazz will look to get ahead in this early to hopefully be able to play their young players and get some rest for their veterans. For the most part the Jazz looked solid in their first game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. This game they hope to continue to improve against another non-playoff team .
