At Halftime Utah Jazz 61 - Houston Rockets 40
The Jazz haven’t had to do much in this one but run through their sets and it’s gotten them up big at halftime in this one.
The bench for the Jazz deserves huge credit. Eric Pachall has brought a whole new element to the Jazz with his defensive intensity and toughness. He’s made a big impact in every game he’s played and demands more time on the floor.
It’s another impressive showing from Hassan Whiteside who continues to bring some toughness along with shot blocking and good hands on offense. If he keeps this up, the Jazz are going to win a TON of games.
Jordan Clarkson also deserves a ton of credit with his 19 points in 19 minutes. As long as he’s doing this, it makes this Jazz second unit lethal.
It’s been a big Joe Ingles night as well as he’s scored 14 points on hot shooting.
The Utah Jazz are 3-0 and will take on the rebuilding Houston Rockets in Houston. The Rockets have a young star in Jalen Green who is going to get acquainted with Rudy Gobert at some point tonight at the rim.
The Jazz are looking to create some consistency on both ends of the floor. Donovan Mitchell has yet to put together a solid all around game. His playmaking and defense appear improved but his shooting has not been great night in and night out from all parts of the floor. Can Mitchell find his consistency tonight against the Rocekts?
