The Utah Jazz look to rebound after suffering their first loss of the season to the Chicago Bulls, less than 24 hours ago. They will have to bounce back against the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks who are trying to forget a tough loss at home last night to the San Antonio Spurs. The game against the Bucks tonight, although still early in the season, will be a good litmus test for this Jazz team who are hoping to finally reach the top of the championship mountain just like the Bucks did last year. The Jazz will have the benefit of Mike Conley in the lineup again tonight, which should bolster their depth and give them a good chance to pick up the win.
The Bucks have had sort of a “Jekyll and Hyde” start to their 2021-22 season. With ugly losses to the Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs at home but also having quality wins against the Brooklyn Nets and Spurs also. Granted, this is a team that understands that the regular season is a marathon and that they need to pace themselves so they can be ready to defend their title in the playoffs. With that being said, the Bucks will surely not want to lose their 3rd home game in a row and fall below .500.
The Jazz luckily have a quick turnaround to try and forget about the bad loss to an upstart Bulls team. The Jazz were without the services of Mike Conley last night, which hurt their depth. Although Donovan Mitchell lead the team with 30 points and 6 assists he also shot about 33%, as well as Jordan Clarkson shooting approximately 25% from the floor. Hopefully, that is an aberration and the Jazz can close out this mini road trip on a positive note tonight.

This looks to be a fun Sunday evening matchup between two teams that are similar in terms of championship contender status and playing style. Now let’s hope the Jazz can pick up the statement win and close out October strong.
