The Utah Jazz were missing Donovan Mitchell and the first half definitely looked that way. It was in the second half when Jordan Clarkson exploded out of his shooting slump and helped get the Jazz the win over the Atlanta Hawks. You also have to give credit to Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert who played major roles for the Jazz helping them stay in the game until the Jordan Clarkson experience reached its climax.

This Jazz team is starting to click as Donovan Mitchell has really found a groove. Now, if Jordan Clarkson can play at his regular 6MOY level, the Utah Jazz will have created a team that has a real chance to make the playoffs.

It’s also time to start getting excited about what Eric Paschall brings. On his birthday, Paschall had another big night defending the ball and hustling for rebounds. His athleticism showed on a big dunk in the second half. It’s an absolute luxury for the Jazz to have this guy who gives them something on the perimeter they didn’t have last year. It really looks like the Jazz have hit on every offseason move so far this season. Amazing.
