The Utah Jazz lost a tough one to the Miami Heat last night and are looking to rebound against the Orlando Magic. The Magic are nowhere near the level of opponent as the Miami Heat but do have a mix of talent that could cause the Jazz problems if they’re not careful.
As the fifth overall pick Jalen Suggs has had a lot of hype coming into the season has had his moments impressing, but has yet to have everything come together. Cole Anthony has had a great statistical season and is looking like a guard of the future for them to pair with Jalen Suggs. Franz Wagner has also looked good for the Magic but outside of them, the Magic don’t have the talent to win a lot of games this year, which is probably the best strategy for them so they can get another core player to build around.
The Jazz will be resting Mike Conley to keep him healthy for the playoffs.
Injury report:
— Utah Jazz (@utahjazz) November 7, 2021
OUT - Mike Conley (right knee injury maintenance)
OUT - Rudy Gay (right heel injury recovery)
OUT - Elijah Hughes (non-COVID related illness)
OUT - Udoka Azubuike (G League - on assignment)
The Jazz need to stay as healthy as possible and keeping Mike Conley fresh is the best medicine. Behind Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, they should be more than able to handle the Magic, even with it being the 3rd game in 4 nights.
