The NBA’s rapid offseason continues! After an exciting night with great results on draft day, the Utah Jazz front office now turns its full attention towards free agency.
The obvious priority for Utah is bringing back All Star point guard Mike Conley. According to the latest rumors, it looks like they’ll do exactly that.
Mike Conley is expected to return to the Utah Jazz on a three-year, $60 million contract, a league source tells @MavericksSI.

The first-time All-Star is coming off a season featuring averages of 16.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists.
Before you scoff too much at that relatively unknown source, he actually was the very first to get the scoop on the Rudy Gobert extension. We’ll find out if he got this one as well in a few short hours. Also, if this is correct, then 33 year old Conley at a 3 year $60 million dollar contract is great value.
Who else might the Jazz be targeting to round out their roster? I imagine they’ll be focusing on another rotational big and a perimeter defender. Could they also be looking to use the Derrick Favors trade exception? Or will we be surprised by a trade involving a key piece from last season?
