It looks as though the New York Knicks is the team that's most likely to land shooting guard Donovan Mitchell. However, as of yet, nothing is set in stone. Most reports are suggesting that he could still start the upcoming 2022/23 NBA season in a Utah Jazz shirt, which could see things getting awkward.

It appears as though Mitchell wasn't the person to initiate the move. Instead, he has hinted that the decision was made by the people who control the strings at his current club.

Where is Donovan Mitchell likely to go?

According to reports, the New York Knicks is the team where Mitchell is most likely to end up, but exactly when this will happen is still anybody's guess. Other reports suggest that there's also a chance that the Oklahoma City Thunder could swoop in and get Mitchell. If you're looking to place a wager on where you think he might end up, or for basketball betting in general for the upcoming 2022/23 season, NBA betting on Unibet Sportsbook might be one of your best options.

Who is Donovan Mitchell?

Donovan Mitchell is an American men's professional basketball player and is the current shooting guard for the Utah Jazz. The 25-year-old was born in Elmsford, New York, in September 1996, and he stands at 6 ft 1 in. He first made the NBA draft in the 13th pick of the first round in 2017, and he has played for The Jazz since going pro.

He has been an NBA All-Star player on three separate occasions (2020, 2021, and 2022), and he was the NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion in 2018. His career high so far occurred in December 2017, when he scored a total of 41 points against the New Orleans Pelicans, in which The Jazz won 114-108. Not only did he become the highest-scoring rookie in a Jazz shirt in that game, plus he also became the first NBA rookie to score this many points since Blake Griffin netted as many just over ten years ago (in 2011).
