According to multiple reports, Keyonte George avoided serious injury after he came up limping on a non-contact play.

The injury update from the Utah Jazz states he will be re-evaluated after the team returns from their current road trip. That likely means they will asses the injury on Dec 17th after they return from playing Sacramento.

The initial injury was scary and had a lot of fans on twitter speculating what it could be, so it’s nice to see that everything is fine. Whenever a player comes up limping on a play like this, it’s easy to think the worst.

It will be interesting to see how the Jazz do on this road trip. They’re not playing Lauri Markkanen against the Blazers, and they’re already down Jordan Clarkson and John Collins.

All that aside, this is the best possible news for Jazz fans who have been ecstatic about the promising young point guard.
