According to Chris Haynes, Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson is available for trade.

You can watch the video here where Chris Haynes is on Bleacher Report and says that Jordan Clarkson is a name he’s hearing for a guy who is available.

Haynes says that he can be had for the “right package, the right deal,” which absolutely sounds like the type of language we typically hear from Danny Ainge and the Jazz front office.

Clarkson is currently waiting to be traded out with a thigh contusion but may be close to a return.

It’s the latest in a string of rumors for the Utah Jazz who have underwhelmed to start this season and currently have the 7th worst record in the league. The Jazz have asked a lot of Clarkson this year as a lead playmaker for the starting unit, and it hasn’t gone very well. Clarkson is having statistically the worst scoring season of his career. A far cry from the 6th Man of the Year campaign he had for the Jazz just a few seasons ago. A team that wants him will likely want him as a potential sixth man. For the Jazz to get a trade to happen, it may be difficult, but Clarkson does have a very tradeable contract and would likely fit much better on a team that can expect less of him and let him focus on the thing he’s good at, scoring the basketball.
