What I really liked from this batch was how we really try to talk to the fans / readers here and come to consensus on a few things. Or if not consensus, at least have some sort of dialog about stuff. We talked about the direction the team is heading in, how we'd feel about Jerry Sloan moving on, our issue with the media, our issue with how the media ranks our team and players, and so forth. We even go into big discussions about how to divvy up the minutes, how to run the team, and what the team should aim for.

We also talked about a few SB Nation league wide things, like who our cult classic players are, what was our best trade ever, and also who would be on our 3 on 3 team. Of course, we didn't forget the fun stuff and statistical analysis either. It's all here in the second two weeks of August! A funny one was naming the types of video games our Jazz players would be the cover spokesperson for.

Last, I'd like to single out Diana's post on Scott Layden. Check it out here. It is an interesting book end to this Part 8 of the best posts of the off-season, as she started this one talking about the new King. And now we get the changing of the guard.
