NBA Preseason: Utah Jazz at Golden State Warriors Injury Update

Jim O'Connor-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Preseason Game 1: Jazz @ Warriors

Injury update:

Utah Jazz backup Point Guard, and essential de-facto "Dad of the second unit", Earl Watson did not travel with the team. He is still recovering from a successful surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. He remains out indefinitely, and sustained the acute injury last season against the San Antonio Spurs. As a result back-up duties will be handled by Jamaal Tinsley, Randy Foye, Chris Quinn, and perhaps also Alec Burks in some sort of order. This morning David Locke did talk a little about Burks at the PG from the inter-squad scrimmage here. But please, it's just the scrimmage.

Mo Williams and Al Jefferson should both be good to go for the Jazz. And right now I am unaware of any other Jazz injuries. Furthermore, let's be honest, I don't care about any Warriors injuries at this stage to report on it.
