Injury Update:

x

Celtics Injuries --

  • Avery Bradley (SG) OUT -- Bradley would be their starting SG this season (he's the reason why they didn't cry when Ray Allen left); and he's currently recovering from left shoulder surgery.
  • No one else is injured.

x

Jazz Injuries --

  • Earl Watson (PG) OUT -- Earl is still out, but he FINALLY got medical clearance to resume full contact practices. The Jazz rule is you have to play in one practice before you can return from injury. If the Jazz practice TOMORROW, then we could see him in time for Games 3 and 4 of this trip. Earl wasn't in Toronto on monday, but rejoined the team in Boston. So, woo!
  • Raja Bell (SG) OUT -- He's busy right now trying to count all of these absentee Florida ballots.
  • Mo Williams (PG) IN -- Mo played in our last game, he's playing through his adductor strain. Expect to see him tonight as well.

Advantage --

Celtics have the advantage here, because behind Avery they have a TON of guys who can fill it up at the SG spot in Jason Terry, Courtney Lee, Leandro Barbosa, and if they needed to, Paul Pierce. The Jazz aren't that deep at PG. But hey, we make it work.
